Today September 10th, 2016 is World Suicide Prevention Day

Do you know what the warning signs or risk factors are for suicide? How about where to call for help? Please join me today in educating ourselves on suicide and where to get help. We just might help prevent a suicide.

If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide, call

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255)

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death for all ages. In America, there are over 41,000 suicides a year. We need to do something these numbers are increasing.

Please join me today in taking the time to visit National Alliance on Mental Illness’s website to learn more about suicide prevention.

Together we can help prevent suicide by educating ourselves and knowing where to get help.
