Are you an imitator of God or man? It is easy to get caught up in trying to be like everyone else that we sometimes forget our Lord called us to emulate him not people.

I try but frequently fall short, thank goodness our Lord gives us a lifetime to keep moving in that direction. However, without a plan – How do we know we are becoming more Christ-like?

It is such an honor to introduce you to Alyson this week as our featured writer. She asks some valuable questions as she ponders what it means to be imitators of Christ.

  • “Do I imitate Jesus no matter what?”
  • “Do other people think I imitate Jesus?”

Alyson writes at Write Them on My Heart. Not only does she write but she creates beautiful hand-lettered scripture. Every Thursday I receive a special treat when I open my email and discover the beautiful design she has delivered.

    1. The feeling is mutual. You have blessed me each week with your beautiful scripture you create. Plus this week you have got me thinking about being an imitator of God. I want the inner transformation you talk about, and I have to be in God’s word to get it.

It was an honor featuring you this week.
