Grace & Truth Link-up - Are you a perfectionist? Don't be so quick to say "no." Perfectionism does not mean you do everything perfect. In fact, it can be quite the opposite. Do you ever find yourself hours into a project and you have gone beyond what is necessary - but you are unable to cease striving.

Are you a perfectionist? Don’t be so quick to say “no.” Perfectionism does not mean you do everything perfect. In fact, it can be quite the opposite. Do you ever find yourself hours into a project and you have gone beyond what is necessary – but you are unable to cease striving. This behavior just might be a sign of something more.

One might think since I did an extensive “Series on Perfectionism” last year I would have put the tendency behind me. But this is not the case; I frequently find myself striving hours for something unattainable.  Of course, my time would be better spent embracing God’s holiness.

Today’s feature is one you won’t want to miss even if you think you are beyond perfectionism. The truth in Ginger’s words may surprise you. A big thank you to Liz Giertz over at My Messy Desk for sharing “Cease Striving for Perfection, Embrace God’s Holiness” written by her friend Ginger Harrington.
