Today I have the honor of featuring Lisa’s post, “Let Them Help You.”

The title alone caught my eye, and I knew right away I wanted to share this particular post with you. I don’t know about you, but I struggle with allowing others to help me. Being the giver just comes naturally. However, one has to ask what are we missing by continually being the helper and what might we be stealing from the other person when we always give?

Not too long ago I became injured, and all rolls reversed.  At first, it was painful to allow others to help. But the more I moved out of the way God revealed his plan and showed me I was holding others back by always giving.

Lisa say’s it well, “Our weak spots give others the opportunity to grow stronger.” Be sure to click over and read, “Let Them Help You.”

  1. Thanks for sharing my post, Maree! I’m honored. Hope you’re recovering well from your injury. It’s so hard to be on the receiving end of help, but what a blessing for others that they got to serve you. (And a blessing to you too!)

    1. Lisa, Yes, it was a blessing. I would love to say my injury is 100% healed but without a miracle, it won’t. However, I am much improved. I will say it sure taught me a lot. It was an honor to feature your post. Maree
