Have you ever been the woman grieving on Mother’s Day? Do you know someone this year who is? Many times we can't see the ache because it is invisible to us.  Would you like to learn how to recognize and honor the grieving woman on Mother's Day?

Have you ever been the woman grieving on Mother’s Day? Do you know someone this year who is? Many times we can’t see the ache because it is invisible to us.  Would you like to learn how to embrace and honor the grieving woman on Mother’s Day?

When we haven’t experienced the same losses, we sometimes do not acknowledge the pain or know how to help. I have been the woman with an ache in my heart on this particular day. My losses were most likely unseen to most. It can be a lonely, overwhelming, and painful day.

Rachel Lee wrote an inspiring post on, “How to Honor the Woman Who Is Grieving on Mother’s Day.” It is well worth the time to invest in reading it and even clicking over to a brilliant piece she references on the topic of a barren woman. In Rachel’s post, she describes some of the ways a woman might be hurting on Mother’s Day and does a beautiful job listing out ways each of us can help her feel loved.

Yes, we absolutely should celebrate Mother’s day. Mom’s are amazing and deserve to be honored.

Happy Mother’s Day!

If you are a mom who is hurting this year, I would love to be praying for you. Leave me a message in the comments or send me an email through the contact page. You also might find this post helpful, “Sometimes Mother’s Day Hurts.”
