Are you on a quest to restore your broken heart? If so, I hope you are giving God all of the pieces. Sometimes we tend to hold back a little bit, which interferes with the healing process.

Jennifer linked up an inspirational post last week about mending our brokenness. She gives you a visual of what that might look like when we are willing to give it all to God. Jennifer has a lovely website called “Tea with Jennifer,” where you will always find a cup of inspiration. I certainly did last week.

Last week, we had some challenges, which brought up old wounds. It was painful, yet when I read Jennifer’s post, I realized we were seeing God’s handiwork in our healing. She gave me a visual, which helped me put words to what I was seeing. I hope her post will do the same for you.

  1. Thank you, Jennifer, for this encouragement. Thank you, Maree, for posting. It IS difficult to give God all the broken pieces of our hearts. I know.

Thanks for linking up at InstaEncouragements!

  2. Thanks for bringing this post to our attention. Brokenness comes to each of us at some time, usually more than once in life. Though painful, it’s precious to think of our Lord picking up the pieces and transforming us through it all.

    1. Barbara – Yes, I agree. It certainly comes to all of us and more than once. But God sure does make a beautiful tapestry. Blessings to you, Maree
