We all want to be loved unconditionally, yet we seldom receive this kind of love nor give it.  Why do you struggle to love unconditionally?

We all want to be loved unconditionally, yet we seldom receive this kind of love nor give it. We tend to put conditions on our love. Why do you struggle to love unconditionally?

Is it because you feel the other person will never change if you accept them right where they are?

Unconditional love is hard! It is a choice that must be made over and over again.  But God loves us unconditionally. He loves us just as we are.

I find unconditional love only possible with God.

What about you?

Today our featured writer is Theresa Boedeker.  You will want to visit her on her website where she unwraps life with words to encourage, entertain, and bring forth laughter.

Her post today has a simple but profound message from non-other than Fred Rogers. “I love you just the way you are.”  She explores the meaning of this simple statement and uncovers a truth we all need to remember.

“When we feel loved, truly loved, we don’t sit down and stop growing. No, we grow in ways we can’t even imagine.”

  1. I don’t think I have ever loved unconditionally nor am I sure I will this side of heaven, but I keep striving for it as I follow Jesus’ example. laurensparks.net
