Will you join me in not letting another wounded die? As many of you know, I have a passion for the wounded and their families.  However, that doesn’t exempt me from failing to care for the injured in my midst.  Maybe I don’t openly condemn, but sometimes my look can say it all or I fail to act. I want to do better.

After all, we all will find ourselves hurting at some point in life.

Nylse, wrote a beautiful post, “Don’t Let Another Wounded Soldier Die,” that brings light to how we treat our wounded.  Christians and churches don’t always get it right, but we can choose to do it God’s way and love our people who are hurting.

May is Mental Health Awareness month and this post resonated with me even though it is not about mental health challenges.  Those that have mental illness and their families are some of the most wounded and mistreated among us.

If you are one of the wounded I would love to pray for you.  Please leave a note in the comments on how I can be praying for you.

  1. I did read Nylse’s post. What a powerful post! We do need to welcome the wounded among us and show them the love of Christ. And when we are wounded ask for people to come alongside and pray for us. This is what our churches should be like, but I fear many are not. Blessings to you, Maree Dee! I didn’t even realize you were one of the hosts of this linkup! I’m glad to know and thank you for hosting.

    1. Gayl, I love that you mentioned when we are wounded we need to ask for people to come alongside us. I struggle with asking for help. Yes, I joined co-hosting the link up a few months ago. I am fairly new. It has been fun. Thank you for stopping by. Maree

  2. I came from work abroad with both my body and nervous system exhausted. I didn’t become thin. But l cannot mend my health. Please pray for me. Thank you.

    1. Happy Friday to you! Thank you for stopping by. I always love seeing your cheerful comment. Maree
